Welcome to Pro Auto Movers. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rights and responsibilities between Pro Auto Movers Pty Ltd (“we,” “our,” “us”) and the customer (“you,” “your”) for vehicle transport services within Australia. By booking a vehicle transport with us, you agree to these Terms.
Service Overview
Pro Auto Movers provides vehicle transport services across Australia, including door-to-door and depot-to-depot delivery options. We act as both a carrier and, where applicable, an agent arranging transport on your behalf through our trusted network of logistics partners
Quotations & Bookings
- Prices are based on information you provide regarding the vehicle's condition, pickup and delivery locations, and service type.
- Any changes to these details after booking may affect the quoted price.
- A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full or as otherwise agreed in writing.
Vehicle Condition and Requirements
- The vehicle must be in a safe and operable condition unless otherwise agreed.
- You must disclose any mechanical issues, modifications, low clearance, or non-running status at the time of booking.
- Loose items, personal belongings, or accessories inside the vehicle are not covered by our insurance and are transported at your own risk.
- We reserve the right to refuse transport if the vehicle is unsafe, overloaded, or does not meet our safety requirements.
Transit Times
Transit times provided are estimates only and may vary due to weather, logistics scheduling, or unforeseen events beyond our control. We will always make reasonable efforts to deliver within the indicated timeframe but are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, accidents, natural disasters, industrial action, or road closures.
Pickup & Delivery
- Pickup and delivery are performed as close as safely possible to the specified address.
- Some residential or regional areas may have access limitations. In such cases, the driver will arrange an alternative safe location nearby.
- You or an authorised representative must be available at both pickup and delivery points to sign inspection reports and hand over or receive the vehicle keys.
Vehicle Inspection
Before loading, a vehicle inspection report will record the condition of the car, including visible damage (if any). Upon delivery, the same process will be followed. Both parties will sign the report to confirm the vehicle`s condition.You must inspect your vehicle at delivery and report any concerns in writing within 24 hours of receipt.
Insurance & Liability
- All vehicles transported by Pro Auto Movers are covered by comprehensive transit insurance during transport.
- Insurance covers physical damage to the vehicle resulting from accident, theft, fire, or handling while in transit.
- In the unlikely event of damage, you must notify us immediately so we can initiate an inspection and claims process.
- Our total liability is limited to the value of the transport service provided.
- Does not cover Pre-existing damage
- Does not cover Mechanical or electrical failure not caused by transport
- Does not cover Damage caused by personal effects left inside the vehicle
- Does not cover Minor cosmetic issues such as dust, dirt, or residue from road or sea travel
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate vehicle details and contact information.
- Ensure the vehicle is available for pickup at the agreed time and location.
- Remove all personal items and accessories not permanently attached to the vehicle.
- Provide keys and access to the vehicle.
- Ensure any alarm, immobiliser, or anti-theft device is disabled before transport.
Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds depend on notice period before pickup. No refunds after vehicle collection.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup will incur a 10% administrative fee.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a 50% cancellation charge to cover logistical and carrier allocation costs.
- Once a vehicle has been collected, no refunds are available.
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7-10 business days.
Delays & Force Majeure
Pro Auto Movers is not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, accidents, road closures, or acts of government.
Limitation of Liability
Except as required by law, Pro Auto Movers is not liable for:
- Loss of income, business, or opportunity
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Damage caused by circumstances beyond our control
- Any claims exceeding the total transport fee paid.
Non-Running & Modified Vehicles
If your vehicle is non-operational, has lowered suspension, large accessories, or is otherwise modified, you must inform us in advance. Failure to do so may result in additional handling fees or refusal of service on the day of pickup.
Privacy Policy
All personal information collected is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Laws. We only collect information necessary to arrange your transport and communicate with you. Your details will not be shared with third parties except our authorised logistics partners directly involved in your vehicle`s movement.
Governing Law
TThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction of the state where the booking originated.
